I’m an author of fiction for young adults, and my debut novel UNEXPECTED DEVELOPMENT was published by Roaring Brook Press in 2004.

LOVE IN THE CORNER POCKET, was published by Scholastic/Point in the summer of 2008 and a paranormal teen series, starting with DEAD IS THE NEW BLACK, DEAD IS A STATE OF MIND, DEAD IS SO LAST YEAR, DEAD IS JUST A RUMOR, and the final book to feature Daisy Giordano, DEAD IS NOT AN OPTION.

DEAD IS THE NEW BLACK was a summer book club buzz pick by Seventeen Magazine and was featured in the January 2009 issue of Cosmopolitan. it was also a 2011 Popular Paperback and an ALA Quick Pick for Reluctant Young Adult Readers.

There will be new books in the DEAD IS series! look for the DEAD IS spin-off, which will feature a new main character, Jessica Walsh. DEAD IS A BATTLEFIELD and DEAD IS A KILLER TUNE will be out in 2012.
